Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Lamplight (the Service) you agree to these Terms. They are an agreement between you and Aayla Secura LLC, doing business as Sarvixo, which operates Lamplight. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

Lamplight shows a daily Bible verse with a short reflection, and offers reading plans and related tools to subscribers. Scripture comes from the King James Version and the World English Bible, both in the public domain. Lamplight is made by a software company. It is not a church or ministry, and nothing in it is pastoral, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

3. The study helper

Subscribers may be offered a study helper that answers questions about a passage using an AI model. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete. Verses it refers to are shown from the stored text. It has daily limits, and we may change or pause it. Don't rely on it in an emergency: in the US, call or text 988 or call 911.

4. Accounts

Buying a subscription needs an account. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.

5. Subscriptions, payment and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically each period (week, month or year) through our payment processor, Stripe, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method at each renewal. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds: 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase. Email us. To request one, email ryan@sarvixo.co from the purchasing account within 14 days of your first purchase. Renewals and later purchases are not covered. See the refund policy.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. Your data on your device

Saved verses, highlights, streaks and plan progress are stored in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser data or switching devices removes them, and we can't restore them.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to break or overload it, to get around limits or payment, or to use it to harm others. You may share verse cards freely.

8. Intellectual property

The Lamplight name, design, software and reflections belong to Aayla Secura LLC (dba Sarvixo). Scripture text is public domain.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Aayla Secura LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Denver, Colorado.
