Today's verse

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (King James Version)

A thought for today

Few roads are clear from the start. This proverb invites you to trust God more than your own read of the map. Bring him your plans, listen as you go, and know he cares about the path you're on.

God, I can't see the whole road. Lead me one step at a time, and help me listen.

Questions

Is the daily verse free?

Yes. Today’s verse, its reflection and the share card are free every day, with no account. Reading plans, streaks and saved verses come with a subscription.

Which Bible translations does it use?

The King James Version and the World English Bible. Both are in the public domain, so every verse is shown word for word. You can switch between them on any verse.

Is Lamplight a church or ministry?

No. Lamplight is made by Sarvixo, a small software company. It doesn’t belong to any denomination and it isn’t a substitute for a local church or a pastor.

Who writes the reflections?

We write them with help from AI tools and check each one against the verse before it goes up. The Scripture itself is never written by AI. It comes straight from the KJV and World English Bible text.

How do I cancel a subscription?

From your account page, choose Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
